2. Information we process

The information DayGlow processes depends on the features you use.

DayGlow does not require you to create an account. DayGlow does not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, health data, payment card data, government identifiers, microphone recordings, or camera recordings.

3. Advertising and third-party services

DayGlow is an ad-supported app. Current or future versions may display ads through Google AdMob or other advertising partners.

Advertising partners may collect or receive device information, usage data, advertising identifiers, IP address-derived approximate location, and other data described in their own privacy notices. They may use this information to deliver, measure, limit, and protect ads, including personalized or non-personalized ads where permitted by law and user settings.

If required in your region, DayGlow or its advertising partners may ask for consent before using data for personalized advertising. You can also manage ad personalization choices through your device settings and Google settings.

4. Android permissions

• Notifications: Used only if you enable reminders for countdowns or anniversaries.
• Photo or document picker access: Used only when you choose an image for a widget or share image. DayGlow does not scan your full photo library.

If DayGlow adds new permissions in a future version, this policy will be updated to explain why they are needed.

5. How we use information

• To provide countdown, anniversary, widget, reminder, and share image features.
• To save your preferences and keep the app useful across sessions.
• To show and measure ads, detect invalid activity, and keep ads compliant with platform policies.

• To comply with legal obligations and enforce platform or security requirements.

6. Sharing of information

DayGlow may share or make information available in the following situations:

• With service providers and SDK partners: For example, advertising partners such as Google AdMob may process data to provide ads and related services.
• When you choose to share: If you use DayGlow's share image feature, the generated image and any text you choose to share will be sent through the app or service you select.
• For legal or safety reasons: If required to comply with law, valid legal process, security, fraud prevention, or protection of rights.

We do not sell your personal and sensitive user data.

7. Data retention and deletion

Countdowns, anniversaries, widget settings, and preferences are stored on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request and maintain records.

Because DayGlow does not require an account, you can delete in-app event data directly in the app or by clearing app data from Android settings. You may also contact Navymy28@gmail.com for privacy questions or deletion requests related to support communications.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Local app data is stored using Android platform storage mechanisms. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

DayGlow is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International users

DayGlow may be available in multiple countries. Advertising partners and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal bases and safeguards for such processing.

11. Your choices

• You can create, edit, or delete countdowns and anniversaries in the app.
• You can disable reminders or revoke notification permission in Android settings.
• You can manage advertising ID and ad personalization choices in your Android or Google settings.
• You can avoid selecting background images if you do not want DayGlow to access selected images.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, especially when DayGlow adds new features, advertising partners, analytics, or permissions. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
